Telegram traffic arbitrage: where to start

October 13, 2026 · 3 min read

Traffic arbitrage means buying or attracting an audience's attention in one place and moving it to where someone pays for it: an offer, a channel, a bot or a landing page. Telegram suits this well: audiences live in interest-based channels and chats, people are used to following links and writing in DMs, and the platform barely limits organic reach.

Arbitrage doesn't have to mean grey niches. White-hat offers work great in Telegram: your own channels and networks, online schools and info products, VPNs and apps, e-commerce, services and affiliate programs.

What a funnel consists of

Whatever you call it, any Telegram funnel breaks down into four steps.

  1. Accounts. They need Telegram's trust: age, activity history, decent proxies. A fresh account that starts mass messaging right away quickly gets restricted.
  2. Reach. How your accounts get noticed: comments under posts in niche channels, story views and tags, messages in topical chats, inviting people to a group.
  3. Redirect. Someone noticed the account and got curious. They open the profile and follow the link to your channel, bot or landing page.
  4. Conversion. Some people write to your DMs with questions. A quick, relevant reply noticeably raises conversion. No reply — the traffic is wasted.

The typical beginner mistake is investing only in step two. Reach without warmed-up accounts leads to bans, and reach without a redirect and DM replies leads to traffic that goes nowhere.

Which offers fit

Offers with a clear audience in Telegram work well:

Ready-made funnels for each vertical are on the traffic arbitrage page.

Where to start: a first-week plan

Days 1–2. Accounts and proxies. Three to five accounts are enough for a test. Each one gets its own proxy — an account shouldn't connect from different IPs. You can check whether a proxy works with Telegram for free with our proxy checker. No accounts yet? Register them with Auto-registration.

Days 2–5. Warm-up. Accounts read channels, react to posts and chat with each other — they behave like real people. We have a separate article on this: how to warm up a Telegram account.

Day 3. Offer and profile. Fill in the profiles: name, avatar, a bio with a link to your channel or bot. The profile is your landing page inside Telegram.

Days 5–7. First reach. Start with one source, for example neuro-commenting under posts in 10–20 niche channels. Watch how many people visit the profile and the channel, and only then add a second source — masslooking or inviting.
